The villas overlooking the sea and the clear waters of the Gulf of Thailand are stunning, but it’s the staff and their family-like bond that make this place truly special. Most days, you can see the owner herself in the open kitchen preparing some of the dishes. Nestled in the north of the island in a quiet fishing village, the hotel is about an hour’s drive from the airport. Unlike the busier towns and cities in Phú Quốc, this area offers untouched natural beauty. There are trails through the national park and dirt tracks leading to pristine, protected beaches—arguably some of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. The Peppercorn is a solid 3-star hotel in terms of facilities and services, but for me, it felt like a 5-star experience. The remote, raw beauty of this location is unmatched, and the staff’s genuine happiness creates a lovely environment. Every morning, we enjoyed gorgeous sunrises, sometimes practicing yoga while watching the calm waters. On most days, the sea is perfect for snorkeling, though it can get a little rough with the warm northeast winds. Even then, it’s a beautiful sight, and stronger swimmers could still enjoy it. I had a wonderful time at the Peppercorn. Everything about it felt real, from the natural beauty to the heartfelt hospitality. I can’t wait to return."

"Arrived for new years. What a feast! 4 hours of music, with intermissions that included lion dancing and a magician. Band was really, really good. Only couple of negatives: too many people hung their clothes out to dry (nobody wants to see other people's unmentionables drying) and the breakfast food was average. Service was excellent and the room amenities top drawer."

"Novotel is definitely a great resort for families. It has a ton of amentities including a weekly activity schedule that has something for everyone. Free bicycles, tennis, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc. Always something to do if you'd prefer to stay on resort grounds. The staff are very friendly and are quick to help. I know it's not common outside the US, but tipping the buggy drivers or room cleaners is always appreciated. Negatives Tourists. The amount of families that do not watch their kids, let them run rampant or the amount of adults that act incredibly entitled is astounding. During my 4 days, I witnessed a grown man sitting in the entrance fountain lounging like it was a pool, a woman take a paddleboard that was reserved for another guest and would not return it even after I told her the rental guidelines, a father letting his child walk along the outside border of the infinity pool on the other side of the glass where the drop was about 4 meters. If you go travel to another country that's not your own, please don't be that kind of tourist. "

Other than this was lovely hotel very clean, breakfast was amazing so much choice and variety. Hotel has its own stunning private beach too. One of them hotels where you don’t need to leave "
