"As close to the main train station and bus station as you can get! So it’s amazing to be able to walk there from the Shinkansen with our bags and go right to the hotel! The public baths and restaurant are also amazing. Great choice. Only thing is the rooms themselves are TINY! But for 1 night, doable. "

"Super location to explore all of the beautiful city of Kanazawa. The castle and garden were minutes away as well as many museums and the Samurai and Geisha districts. The many alleyways surrounding the hotel were full of great food and entertainment, and it is right on the main street for easy bus access to the whole city. the Japanese breakfast buffet was superior there was a spa and bath on the top floor with amazing views! my room had all I needed and was well appointed. "This was my first hotel in Japan. Great value for the quality of the stay. The location has plenty to offer in a walkable distance, including close proximity to the Shinkansen (bullet train). I staid here to be able to visit Daihonzan Eiheiji. The bus to Eiheiji temple is at the transportation center where the Shinkansen and other trains depart. "

"This hotel was dirty!! We were expecting old as we wanted to keep costs down and rayes were low. I have stayed in many APA hotels across Japan and they are fine. But this one was filthy. We had booked 4 nights but after one night cancelled and changed to another hotel. Beds were actually decent in condition (APA Kyoto had beds made out of cardboard) but mold and dust, dirty everywhere in room. Can’t recommend it here. Plenty of nice hotels in Kanazawa."

"AC of my room didn’t work because of hotel’s setting. So I opened the window of my room all night. And the shower room is full of mold."

"I booked this hotel mainly for its airport shuttle. Even though there’s only one to the airport in the morning, they went above and beyond to help and accommodate me. The room was massive and provided absolutely lovely views. I do have tattoos so they had to be covered when entering the bath. The building is old and smells of moisture, which I think comes with running an onsen. Overall, I enjoyed my stay very much. "

"Staff was kind. Plenty of self-service facility including vending machine, microwave oven, etc. Room is quiet even the hotel building is beside railroad tracks. Only problems are very limited parking space and early-closing restaurant."
