"You get what you pay for in india . At the same time, this place didn’t even offer a bar of soap in the bathroom, nor any towels. For a blanket at night i used 2 thin beach towels . Not to mention that my room had the scent of a sewer at 2 in the morning "

"Large room with three separate beds but non-functional. Yes, I understand that they have a room available not meant to be a hotel room, but why not rent out to make money. AC and WiFi non functional. Dark closed room. Couldn’t open windows. Needed to keep lights on. Dirty unusable wooden cabinet with age-old newspapers strewn as shelf liner. Folks, clean up the cabinet, paint and use store bought regular shelf liner but never those dirty newspapers. No place to put luggage even for one person....

"It was amazing place to stay in Fort Kochi! Coleridge and Shenalee were excellent hosts, with great knowledge and suggestions for trips and local events. They were always ready to help and the breakfast each morning was first class, I enjoyed the Kerala breakfast everyday but others selected toast and jam, even omelettes. I enjoyed it so much, I booked back in for my return to Kerala, and of course it was no issues with them. This is a hidden gem, don’t miss out on an excellent experience, safe...

"Arrived at 11pm, had booked online with Expedia, but family appeared surprised and put out by our arrival - although later showed they had printed off info about our booking & so would have known of our planned stay. Made to feel like an inconvenience rather than a guest. Questioned over if had paid for AC, and told breakfast not included - so had to find paperwork to prove it had been included in price. Towels & sheets in room had stains on. Did sleep well in room though & breakfast was nice....
