"The High Country Motor Lodge is somehow perfect for families and young professionals. There is room to mingle without being crowded and the place is very well decorated. The beds were very plush and comfy. Overall it has a cabin style of comfort, but it feels high end. This place was a mystery wrapped in an enigma, and I loved every minute of it. Great old fashioned called the River Rat. Wish this chain were all across the Nation."

"This has become a new favorite when visiting my daughter at NAU. The rooms are clean, beds comfy, and staff accommodating. Each room has a small balcony to sit on if you want to enjoy the beautiful Flagstaff fresh air. I had asked for a later check out time and was happy to pay an extra fee. They charged my account, but did not note it in the room notes. We ended up not needing the extra time and hustled to get out shortly after the standard 11am checkout. The staff happily refunded my account for the late check out fee. We will definitely stay again! "

"Nice, clean room with a good breakfast. Convenient location with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. The only issue is that it's close to the railroad, so train horns can be noisy."

"It was very convenient. Crowded but accommodated the people very well. The buffet area could use a good cleaning though. Spills, walls and floors, seems like it needed more attention. Rooms were very spacious. The evening happy hour is a nice plus. "
