"Spacious room with a comfortable bed. Room included a kitchen with a fridge, microwave, hotplates, and utensils. Cold buffet breakfast included that was adequate. Plenty of hot water for the shower. "drove 1000 KMs to get to this location, arrived at midnight, hotel was closed with no staff on site, called Hotels.Com they could not get in contact with the hotel and informed me that it closes at 22:00, did not mention this on the app when i booked, slept in my car, hotel opened at 08:00, had a shower and the mediocre breakfast then had another 1000 KMs to drive. "Hotel provided a pass for the tram into the downtown for our entire stay. This was great and made getting around very convenient. It was, I think, one stop to the train station and another stop to the downtown. Rooms clean, comfortable and larger than tropical European hotel rooms. Breakfast was good."

"The property is in an excellent location for walking to the centre of town. It has its own paid parking which makes it easy for people with cars. The hotel is clean and has very nice staff. They have a nice restaurant and bar on site. Breakfast options are very nice too. Would definitely visit again. "

"Tolles Zimmer in einem alten Haus. Sehr ruhig, man hört nur das Plätschern des Flusses. 1 Minute zu Fuß zum Domplatz. Frühstück sehr liebevoll zubereitet. Es gibt nur 3 Zimmer. Sehr familiär. Das einzige, was etwas besser sein könnte, ist das WLAN. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Sackpfeifenmühle und kommen gerne wieder."

Generally excellent, but.....

"The hotel was located in an area with good transport links. I found occasionally it was difficult in my chair with static electricity. I would suggest maybe a couple of handrails in the bathroom to make it a little more accessible, and a bath with a shower is not helpful for someone who has to use a Powerchair. It's also a bit tricky to leave the room in your chair at times. There was much to enjoy about the room, but it could have been tailored a little more towards my needs. I had written to the hotel about a couple of issues, butdid not get replies. The restaurant staff were always kind and helpful. The wifi was occasionally a bit hit or miss. "
