"Booked a last-minute trip to NYC leading up to New Year’s Eve and of course had trouble finding a nice hotel. Happened upon Gild Hall by Hyatt on hotels.com and couldn’t have been more pleased. Staff was friendly and helpful, check-in was quick and easy, and the rooms were nicely appointed. I chose this hotel because it is located near the Staten Island Ferry and wanted to walk there the next morning at 5:00 am to take the ferry to the NYC Marathon.
