We found a huge cockroach on the wall got it off , told the lady at the front about it and she said oh honey that’s just a water bug from the sewer ;( I hate it because it’s so convenient to be able to stay but will not be back until they do some updating

They put us in “family suite 227” because I purchased a room with a sofa sleeper. The entire sofa was broken. You could not sit or sleep on it. The living room area was beyond filthy. Even the drapes had what appeared to be either food or blood all over them. When we complained, the woman at the counter immediately put us in another room, apologized and said that room 227 was not supposed to be rented to anyone at all. The woman running the breakfast service was exceptionally rude. We have stayed at LaQuinta hotels all over the U.S. and including this one several years ago. But the property is in terrible shape and desperately needs a makeover. Other than the woman working the breakfast room, all the other staff were extremely nice and very apologetic about the conditions.

Be ware!!!
Front desk staff would not accommodate my request for an upgrade to a king suite even though there was a king room available and I was willing to pay the upgrade fee. The staff didn’t seem to know how to process that type of transaction. Not trained properly. Also, the physical plant is worn out and out dated. I am glad my wife did not make that trip as she would not have been impressed. I suggest the Best Western in town.
