"Konokono was a beautiful resort. I really enjoyed the beauty of the bungalow beach villa we stayed in. It was my birthday and they welcomed me with a little decoration in the room which was so cute. The food was great, it definitely gave fine dining but the fixed menu for dinner was delicious. The staff were very nice and helpful. There are monkeys on site, which was cool. They also have someone you can book activities with at lobby. The beach is beautiful but close up to shore needs to be cleaned and or need to put a garbage near by so people don’t litter. The only thing i could say about this hotel is that it is a very quiet and peaceful resort. Not much amenities. So if you are looking for somewhere to just have peace and quiet then this is your place. There is no vibes here just a laid back getaway. Beatrice was very nice and the staff as well. I think it would be good for them to promote that this hotel is a tranquility hotel so that people are not caught off guard with the type of vibes they may be looking for during their stay. Nevertheless it’s a beautiful resort in Zanzibar. "

"Very friendly staff. We had the room that had the patio next to the pool. Very convenient for morning and eveving swimming. We went only once to the larger pools on the property. The Jetty and Mango bars were fun and had very good drinks. Food at the Indian restaurant was fantastic and the best meal we had on the property. Sadly we did not get a chance to try the Italian restaurant. We did not know that it needed a reservation like the Indian restaurant. The snack bar by the Mango bar had good snacks, popcorn, peanuts, hotdogs, etc. We will be going back again next year."

"The hotel is well staffed and are always happy to help. The hotel and accommodation is very clean and is constantly kept clean. The pools are warm and relaxing. The Masai on the beach are warm and welcoming but can be a little full on at times, but hotel security are great at moving them along if you want to be left alone. The food and entertainment are fabulous and range if all inclusive drinks are great. Spoilt for choice with restaurants and food. I never go back to the same hotel, but this is one I would consider returning back to. "

"Fun resort with many different daily activities for families. Set on the fantastic east coast of Zanzibar, Diamonds Mapenzi gives you access to a beautiful beach with warm water and sports (additional charge). Food tasted good and staff was extremely helpful and friendly! Would stay here again "

"I was booked on AL staff are exceptional from the receptionist, porters to waiters. They ensured that our stay was comfortable. They are very friendly, ever smiling and ready to assist when called upon. There was variety of food and entertainment, Zanzibari night was my best. I will come back again and again."

"I really love this resort and I highly recommend it for anyone in USA hoping to vacation in Zanzibar Tanzania. I am from Houston, Texas and I have made VOI my vacation spot in Tanzania. This is my second time taking my fiance to this resort and I just love the hospitality you get once you step a foot into this resort. The manager was very awesome and the staffs are probably the best people you can ever meet in the world especial Massai Name Daniel whom I call my friend and Malik at the front desk whom I also consider as friend after meeting them twice in two years.. The entire staff are just wonderful. Food and drinks are great and the environment is very clean. The bar tenders are the best, The entertainment group were wonderful. You can not beat this all inclusive resort cos is a place you want to go back after visiting once. I just wanna say thanks to the Entire staffs and management for always making us feel special whenever we visit VOI. And I will forever cherish the treatment we get whenever we visit VOI. Thanks and God Bless each and everyone of you for all you do for all the visitors..My only regret is I did not get the chance to tip all the wonderful Chelfs in the cafeteria for all the good food the prepared for us.
