"Stayed at the Rydges Formosa for 2 nights in the 2 bedroom villa which is actually just 2 interconnecting rooms so no actual separate lounge room. The accommodation itself is a bit tired and the rest of the offering isn’t particularly centred around resort guests, eg., I had to call reception 4 times before I got a hold of someone to come and unlock the door between our rooms to make it into the ‘2 bedroom villa’. Breakfast was a very basic buffet, on the Sunday so many things ran out and they...

"We stayed a month at this property. Our first room was a two story with worn furniture and main level A/C and fans were not sufficient to cool the room at night. The manager moved us to a different room that was much nicer with A/C. "

"This was a really relaxed and easy stay. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful! The room was lovely and we had a really positive experience. I was a little dubious after staying at another hotel in Auckland a year ago and it being substandard - but Rydges absolutely made up for that and stood out as being top quality! :o)"
