"Confortable modern hotel in an excellent location. Easy walkable area with many dining and shopping options. A short walk to Queen Emma Bridge. Note that the pictures don’t show an actual beach, but the infinite pool area that is filed with sand and has some beach chair and umbrellas to emulate the real thing. Service is on the slow side, but not as bad as probably anywhere else in the island."

"We had a wonderful time at the Avila. It exceeded our expectations. The private beaches are small, but beautiful and did not feel crowded, even during peak season. the pool was nice too. The whole hotel and grounds were vey well maintained. We especially enjoyed the snorkeling in the calm, clear water. Breakfast buffet was great and offers a wide variety of options with slight variations every day. We had one meal at The Pen and one meal at Blues. These were ok, but not great. There are many better options for dinner within a short walking distance. We would definitely choose this hotel again. "

"This place was everything I needed, a place to shower, a place to sleep and it’s centrally located. It wasn’t the most extravagant place I’ve ever stayed but it’s exactly what I expected for what I paid."
