We went off season and managed to use the pool, which is an unusual design and only 6 people allowed in the pool at same time so not sure how useful in the summer. We were with family - 6 of us, so we had pool to ourselves and the children loved it."

"Lovely, friendly and polite staff. Fire door banging next to our room all first night which kept us awake. Informed staff next morning and it was sorted out by the afternoon. Tired decor considering it was the executive luxury room. Bed wasn’t the best to sleep on. Breakfast was good, again, really attentive staff."

"The Claremont is in a perfect location on the seaside in central Douglas. Stores and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Staff are friendly and efficient. Dinner as well as breakfast the next morning were wonderful. Room had a tub AND a walk-in shower! "
