Receptionist accused me of not paying for dinner the night before where I had to provide a credit card statement as proof of payment as apparently the till receipt wasn’t suffice & the Waiter didn’t provide a pdq receipt. "We stayed as we booked the late swim and spa. Are room for three had two double beds and bathroom. Although dated and in need of a little attention it didn’t detract from our stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful a credit to the hotel. The outside swim area was cold and we couldn’t stay in it for long. The indoor pool was lovely and warm. We ate in the bar as the restaurant was full. Food was good and warm. Overall a great stay and would return."

"As soon as we stepped in to the property I was happy. The check in went very smoothly. Every member of staff we came across was friendly and helpful. Our room was small, but had everything we needed. I loved that we had bottled water, a choice of sparking or still. Also nice hot chocolate as well as tea and coffee.The beds were very comfy with nice pillows and they had very nice fluffy towels in the bathroom.I would definitely stay again"

"We parked on sight, stayed for one night then left the car for 3 nights whilst on a mini break. Shuttle buses to the airport are frequent. We ate in the restaurant which was very nice, great service and great food. We didn’t add parking or shuttle bus on the booking (Couldn’t see the option when I booked) this was payable at the hotel "

"We had a lovely stay here before an early morning flight. Staff were super friendly, room was spotless and it was walking distance to the train station. We ate at the Italian restaurant which was delicious. Highly recommend "

I would say only a ten minute walk at most along flat floors and paving so easy with wheeled luggage. Check in ok and they do offer limited hot food for dinner but nothing Gluten Free. "Excellent location with bus route going directly to city centre about 1 minute on foot from hotel. Convenient, medium-sized car park available. Clean and quiet hotel. Great breakfast. The 3 male receptionists I met at check in, when going to breakfast and at check out were most helpful and polite. Good facilities such as the vending machine that dispensed main meals. Room was spacious, quiet, clean and the shower worked perfectly. This is now my hotel of choice when visiting Manchester. "
