"The Veriu Collingwood is a clean comfortable hotel. We had an extended stay and our housekeeping staff led by Gel always made sure that our room was taken care of and our needs were met. We enjoyed some outstanding restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The transportation system into the Melbourne central business district was easy to navigate and efficient. We definitely used the laundry machine included inside our room. We would definitely stay at this location again on a future visit to Melbourne."

"I would definitely recommend staying here, particularly if you are after a short stay or backpacker. My friends and I booked the quadruple family room, a large bed with two bunk beds. The price was great, cheaper than a hostel. The rooms were private, clean and the beds were very comfy. The rest of the facilities in the property were clean and convenient. Great location, tram stop outside and less than 10mins walk from the main fitzroy road. Can’t recommend this place enough, Alan and the team did a great job in accommodating our stay. "
