"I have always loved staying at Galle Face hotel but this time I was a little disappointed The standard seems to have slipped a bit The service was not as good as it was before and the room amenities were not so good. I was also quite disappointed with the breakfast which used to be one of the best. Though the variety was there but not the taste "

"The building is pristine and the staff seems to speak like they care but lot of inaction. One example is, I called twice to get WiFi working in the room, no follow-ups, then I complained about the WiFi when one of the staff asked me how was my stay. No followups whatsoever. Then when I went down the next day to check-out they wanted to help. At that point things became cold soup for me. "

"The buffet was amazing. Close to Galle face green and One Galle Face Mall. They have a luxury hour with drinks and snacks no children allowed. They have a place with children allowed but the food selection is very limited. This would be my negative feedback. My overall experience was great. "

"The hotel is beautiful and rooms are very well decorated. The only drawback is the bathroom shower door which opens outside and the floor becomes slippery after shower. I asked for a nonslip mat but there was none. "

"Cannot fault the staff, didn’t come across a single staff member who wasn’t polite and helpful. Room big and faultlessly clean. Shopping centre next door handy and has bar with sport on as an Aussie. Will be back at some point. Thank you. "

"I'm a competitive swimmer. This hotel has a 100 meter pool with crystal clear water. I was in heaven. The rooms were awesome. The view from our room was fantastic. The bathrooms are uniquely designed. The only downside was a very limited menu at the restaurant"
