"My stay was amazing. From the minute I walked in, the hospitality was top notch. My room was spotless. A fantastic feature (for me anyway) is lights could be controlled right from the bed. The room also had an under the bed soft light that kept it light enough to get to the restroom without having to turn on any other lights — but not too light to be disruptive. "We had a great time during out 3 night stay at The Esplanade, it is a beautiful building with lots of choice as far as spending time in the bars, restaurants or poolside. The room was stock standard, nothing over the top special, but the bed was very comfortable, it was very roomy. I liked the option to not have the room serviced in exchange for a credit on stay, what a great incentive and makes perfect sense. The bathroom shower floor looked like it needed a good scrub but other than that...

"The accessible rooms were great, spacious, non slip tiles and rails in bathroom. Huge comfy king soze bed, reception area was trendy with small bar/cafe. Limited options for breakfast, no balcony and couldn't open a window. Two fire emergencies during my 5 night stay, on the 7th floor with a disability and noone at reception. Need a much better fire plan."
