Dasinta at reception gave us such a warm welcome and was always happy to help with any questions. We also had great service from Dilakshi in the restaurant, who was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for a lovely breakfast. "Mahesa Bhagwan was the highlight of our time in Sri Lanka without a doubt - if you are tossing up whether to book, I hope this review convinces you! I am so happy I booked this place and feel it was absolutely worth every penny - every time we returned after a busy day exploring Jaffna, it felt like coming home to an oasis. It is a simple and beautifully restored house but every detail of your stay is seen to. The staff at Mahesa are an absolute credit to Jetwing, they absolutely made our stay wonderful with unparalleled hospitality. They were very helpful with additional requests such as finding bus timetables and arranging tuk tuks. I recommend having a meal or two at the house - prepared by their lovely cook in Jaffna style. The breakfast was also delicious. "
