"Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The Onsen is great (preferred the gender-separated onsen, as there is more space and more options than the family tub). The breakfast is a bit hectic as you need to queue, but I enjoyed the food selection. The location is pretty good for everything in town. Overall, we had a great stay here in Takayama."

"It was such a pleasure living at this lovely hotel. It is extremely convenient being located so close to the railway station and good shopping area. There are many restaurants serving a good variety of food around the hotel. It is clean, both in the common areas and the room. The breakfast was generous with a good spread of local food. "The hotel smells really good when you walk in. It’s spotless. I had booked a larger room meant for four and it was beautiful and quiet. They give you very nice amenities and the public bath is a great plus. I woke early and it was empty both mornings. The staff is helpful. The pajamas are nice. I would stay here again and rent the big room. If you are vegetarian there is no breakfast option. "
