"The hotel is situated in a quiet location and hosted within a Large Manor House on very well kept grounds. The price of the room was not much more thank a premier inn which is why I booked the venue. The only reason I have not provided a top score is that the pillows on the bed were uncomfortable and the walls are thin. "Good things were that the bed was comfortable and the shower worked. However the rooms especially the floors could do with a lot more cleaning. The carpets needing shampooing and the bathroom needed bleach cleaning. There was also a bad smell in the building which was not pleasant. The receptionist was friendly which almost made up for poor quality issues "

"Upon arrival, I experienced a traveler’s worst nightmare. It was completely my fault, I had booked a room at the Oyster Fleet for the right day, but I had got the date wrong and booked my stay for the following week! The receptionist was extremely helpful in rectifying my mistake, even though it took some time to sort out. This a great hotel with great food available "
