"Samui Diving Resort is more than a hotel or diving center: Hakan & Nana received us like family in their home. The accomodation is very functional and fully equipped. "This is not a hotel. There is no housekeeping for a start. We stayed 5 nights and not once was our towels changed, bins emptied, toilet rolls refilled - nothing. I had to ask for fresh towels and empty our own bin. It states staff are bilingual but they struggled to understand ‘change towels’ or ‘fresh bin bags’. A pleasant stay, however a microwave, clothes horse, knives and coffee mugs for self-catering would have been appreciated as there is no communal lounge or diningroom. The pool area lacked seating and could only accommodation a single group. Umbrellas were tatty and tired. The road leading to the beach is very busy and difficult to cross over.
