"The property was well laid out. I enjoyed the walk-out beach access that my room offered. My only negatives would be the food at the restaurant and the lack of parking. I ordered a NY strip and shrimp plate. The demi glaze sauce was TOO salty and made the steak inedible and the shrimp were charbroiled to a blackened state for a dish that was not blackened. To improve customer service, I would recommend daily housekeeping service rather than the COVID schedule that many facilities have adopted....

"The condo was well stocked with items needed to enjoy a home away from home. Lots of beach towels, and snorkeling gear. There were even some games for nights indoors. Being able to walk out to the patio, pool and beach so easily was great! The full moon over Bolongo Bay was beautiful. "

"Property has Nice Views on the Beach. I had balcony room with beach view with Wonderful views, sunsets etc...Rooms was clean and spacious to my surprise. And the Eatery they have the food was good and drinks. Guys they have all the Sports channels in the room too! And Shaunice the Manager at front desk was Wonderful,she will take Great care of you on the property and as well assist on ventures off the property as well with great advice. I had a Great Bday week with Emerald Beach and will be back...

"The rooms are extremely large with a beautiful balcony view. Staff was excellent & friendly. The only downside are the amount of steps , built on a mountain that’s understandable. We enjoyed our stay , thank you"

Several more appropriately spaced text messages informed me of check in, emergency after desk hour contact information, and checking on us before check out. The plan of the property is impressive. "We spent three nights at Mafolie Resort. Due to wind damage, the bar and restaurant were not open all hours. The friendly staff, tried to create options for food and drink. The hotel is a little “rustic”, but we enjoyed everything about it. We never had an issue with parking. As described, the views are phenomenal. This is like a bed and breakfast/ boutique hotel combined. "
