"I stayed here prior to a Mt. Kilimanjaro climb and it seemed to be the nicest hotel in downtown area. It was very clean, the views of Mt. Kili were SPECTACULAR, the staff was so very kind and helpful. The best part is the rooftop restaurant. The surrounding downtown area doesn’t have many good food options so this was a life saver. Not only were the views of Mt. Kili beautiful but the menu is very extensive with delicious food! I normally avoid hotel restaurants when traveling but this one is an exception - why go elsewhere when you have the best where you are? "

"Absolutely love this property and it was EXACTLY what i needed after a week long trek up Kilimanjaro. Very relaxing atmosphere with a health-vibe. Masseuse on premises made it very convenient. The food menu at restaurant was also very good. Location is very close to Moshi town (about 15min drive - though if you stay here, you really dont need to go into town - Moshi is very disappointing). Only con was the very spotty wifi. "

The staff made sure that I had a shuttle to go around town and a safe way to get there, had a secure place to store the remaining luggage, and they made delicious food for breakfast and at the restaurant. "Ameg is beautifully landscaped. My room was spacious and well-appointed. The sidewalks were being re-done, which made walking in the muddy grass challenging for me. The staff repeated met me as I walked to the dining room to ensure I was safe. The food in the dining room was really good - I especially liked the lemon pepper chicken! I will stay at Ameg in any future visits to Moshi. "
