"Nice hotel in a good location in Mangga Dua. The hotel is looking a little dated but actually there was renovation work going on. The price was good and included an excellent buffet breakfast. The staff were all very helpful and incredibly friendly! "

"Hotel is dated but clean and staff are friendly and approachable. Unfortunately there are lots of mosquitoes especially at the lobby area and guest receptions area. These are in the hotel and not outside. Best to eliminate this at its their first impressions when we come in and where guests sit around at the lounge cafe enjoying pastries and coffee. Can't stay long with all the mosquitoes. "

"Staff are friendly, helpful and nice. Single room is very small, no window. Hot water doesnt run, but who needs one in Jakarta? AC works very well, the single bed is comfortable, clean and enough firmness. Breakfast is good. Elevator is slow but works. Wifi at the third floor is on and off, weak signal. Safety deposit box in the room was not working: probably battery was dead, I did not use it though, I am sure the staff will replace it if I let them know. Location is great: close to the old...

"Very basic hotel but comfortable enough for the week I was there. It could do with a bit of love, but was otherwise clean and safe. The a/c in my room sounded very asthmatic but it lasted the week and worked well. Opposite the hotel is a bus station if that's your thing, one stop away from the main north-south route which will get you anywhere in Jakarta. They are easy to use but you need to buy a swipe card.
