"The hotel is adjacent to the JR Hakodate train station and the bus stops are in front of the hotel. The tram stop is close by. Walkable to the Bay Area attractions, close to water front. The morning market is just 1-2 minutes walk, the red brick house warehouse is about 10 minutes walk. Easy access to other major attractions. Staff members were friendly. We were early and they let us check in early. The public bath is on the 12th floor which has a beautiful view. The room is compact but functional. I will choose the hotel again next time visiting Hakodate. "

"It was a great stay. I booked the junior suite. It’s very spacious with a kitchen and balcony facing a good view mountains and ocean. The staff were wonderful. "

"There wasn’t elevator for this property, but staff helped us carry our luggage to our rooms. The rooms are very large for Japanese standards, as at least one wing was repurposed from an old bank branch. "

"Thexstay here was very good for these reasons : big room on the high floor with pleasant sea view, quiet location, great sleep. Absolutely superb breakfast. Good location in walking distance from the train station. Good price."
