"I’m quite sure this is the nicest hotel in central Panaji. You never really know until you are actually there. But I find it hard to imagine that anybody would be unsatisfied with a stay at the Crown Goa. The location is perfect, everything is close enough to walk. It sits like a crown, perched a top a hill, overlooking the Mandovi River An easy elevator ride gets you up to the hotel terrace. A river view room is well worth the extra money. Local staff was not helpful in trying to get me a inexpensive taxi and kept pushing me to use their expense hotel taxi . They need to do a better job in getting local taxi to the guest . "

"The Marriot location is ideally situated along the bay in Panaji. The hotel was clean, the food buffets were expansive and tasty, and the rooms comfortable. The pool along the bay is beautiful but unfortunately it was closed for most of our stay. When booking be sure to ask about weddings and there effect on the amenities."
