"Really enjoyed my time at this hotel. Very friendly staff and a good size room great views across the city and comfortable bedding. Whilst we really enjoyed in-house breakfast, our only criticism was the room service menu. Quality of the food was disappointing considering how great the food of San Sebastián is. "Great two night stay in San Seb, good start to our tour. Hotel was super comfortable, with roof top pool and bar super cool for chilling after a days sightseeing. Very good breakfast. Bus stop outside the hotel takes you into the city, it is also walkable "

"Our stay in Axel Hotel San Sebastián was great! The hotel is located in a quiet area closeby to many cafes and shops and at short walking distance to the beach. The hotel's premises were clean and modern, and we had a spacious and comfortable room. We loved the spa access included during our stay, which was an amazing added value to our holidays. We would definitley repeat! "

"Comfortable and well-located. The spa left a lot to be desired... one of the three saunas was out of order, and the pool circuit was never hot enough nor cold enough. There was cold water for refreshments but only dirty cups, none clean."
