"Very convenient location next to Almere Centraal railway station. There are good shopping possibilities in the opposite side of the station. The hotel staff was very friendly. The breakfast was not included in the rate but it was priced reasonably, so we paid for it couple of days. The room was very spacious with two beds big enough for two people. The beds were comfortable, pillows maybe not so. In Dutch style the room was a bit cold but the blanket warm. Room day cleaning was by request only. "

"We stayed at the property from October 18th to October 20th, 2024. The website stated that complimentary water would be provided, but when we checked in, we were not given any despite asking multiple times. The staff seemed careless about our request and ultimately provided only one bottle of water for our two-day stay. We had to sleep all night thirsty without drinking water, and since it was late, we could not get water from nearby shops."

I `will categorized this hotel as 3 star hotel not 4 star., it is still substandard as compared to US hotels 4 star. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast is good except there are no variations. "Our stay was phenomenal. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The hotel itself was beautiful as was our room. Though not super close to many attractions, everything was within a 30 minute walk. Getting an Uber was super easy if we felt too tired to walk back. Definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Amsterdam. "

"Wow! Hotel Old Quarter was amazing! The photos are accurate, the room was small but expected and the view of the canal from the room was brilliant! The heaters worked so well, very cosy. We often had a drink or two downstairs, which Nathan and Anna made fun and enjoyable! We could walk to everywhere, great location! Oh and they have a cat - so got my cat fix :) "

"Very welcoming and attentive. The man in reception was friendly and was willing to offer extra towels/pillows if requested. The bathroom and communal areas were clean. The bed was very comfortable too - I had a double and it took up the room. It didn’t bother me but it might others if they need space. The accommodation is very convenient only a few mins from Centraal and loads of shops/bars nearby. This is no fault of the location but it can get quite noisy outside FYI. "
