"The reception when we first arrived was a bit frosty. The restaurant breakfast service was extremely poor. Our Valley view room had a toilet roll holder you find in some office buildings where roll is locked and tissue is pulled though a small gap. Two days in a row, the tissue was trapped and could not be pulled out. Each time this happens you hsve to call reception to get it sorted. I am sure I am not the only one to experience this so why not resolve it? One day we came back yo the room...

"Breathtaking, warm welcome, truly a place to visit. When you get here they welcome you like family the 1st view is magical. Seeing the mountains, towns, tea plants. The rooms are clean, bed soft, bathroom clean, shower is heavenly, balcony view pristine plenty of space in the room. Breakfast and dinner was a buffet of course you can order what you like as well. Check out smooth and easy. "

"Hotel was nice and clean. But there is no air conditioning even in premium rooms. Also every evening they arranged camp fire and played loins music. It was really difficult to sleep when there is no A/C and loins music is playing outside."

"Lovely and luxurious stay. Some areas can be looked more carefully like gym had limited water and no phone so one can call up for. Sauna shower wasn’t functioning properly. But otherwise property is lovely and staff is very nice. Joman and sifa took extra care of us "

"Hotel itself is up a very steep hill and a bit far from Munnar, only suitable if you have a driver. The staff are what make this hotel and the views. The hotel itself is quite noisy as the rooms are around an atrium and not we’ll sound proof. We were unfortunate to stay when a large Indian family were also visiting and they were extremely noisy going between rooms and shouting in the corridor/atrium. The staff moved our room and helped as best they could."

"A high quality resort with great proximity to the Thekkady check post. Staff were super friendly and helpful through out, their evening programs were also great. Food, you’ll love regardless of your nationality, worth visiting again."

"All the staff were amazing and we loved the cultural experience they provided with the cooking classes and the classical dance. The food was delicious and there was such a variety. I will definitely recommend this resort to friends and family around the globe. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and very sweet and professional. Sona and Ashwita and Janisha all were great! "Beautiful hotel with beautiful views. The hotel is ahout 10 mins from town, but it is up a very steep hill. The roads are not for the faint hearted and once you are at the hotel you might not want to leave because of the roads. But the hotel is lovely and serves great food and offers tea tasting and cooking demos. "

"2 days here were enough for us to feel relaxed and enjoy the surroundings. The staff were excellent and food was good with a wide variety. As we were hoping to do bird photography and didn’t see many birds amongst the tall trees so we were a little disappointed. But all in all it’s a beautiful resort if relaxation and quiet time are what you need. "
