"Overall, the staff was very pleasant and courteous. I had an enjoyable experience. The property is gorgeous. However, upon arriving, the evening supervisor, named Patricia, was very sarcastic, indifferent, and rude. She was unwilling to make accommodations for my group, which consisted of my cousin, my one-year old son, and me. She blamed Expedia for the miscommunication and did not try to fix the problem. "Tucked away at the end of the very busy West Bay beach, the Caribe Tesoro was a nice, smaller hotel with fantastic staff. A beautiful pool, and lovely morning views for breakfast overlooking the clear waters. The hotel is undergoing some renovations, including the pier over the waterfront but this was not too disruptive. "If peace and serenity are what you are looking for, Barefoot Cay Resort is ideal. As a boutique resort with a limited number of accommodations you can easily avoid the crowds. Although there were a few other guests, my wife and I felt like we had the place to ourselves. We enjoyed sitting on the beach and snorkeling off the pavilion with no distractions.
