"I had a really comfortable stay at Route-Inn. The room is nice and bed comfy. The breakfast buffet was superb and there are lots of options for affordable dining close by. It is a bit of a walk to get to the train station and some bus stops but I was able to get everywhere I needed just fine. "

"The watch of Sunset over the Sea of Japan from this property was outstanding!! I got the last room left in the entire town for this holidays in August so I Actually consider myself lucky! The layout of the room was ugly but after I moved things around the energy got better. Those who booked ahead in time got the best rooms at the building top floors and had the choice of booking the great Japanese dinner served in the room. The Onsen had great location and I was given the gift of a full...

"料理は美味しかったように思う。野菜がとくにおいしかった。周辺は温泉宿がいくつもあり、趣がある。しかし、水族館や海など、他の山形県のみどころからは離れているので、一泊二日だと、温泉と料理だけを楽しむ旅行になってしまうことは、人によっては難点かもしれない。"

"Amazing view from the room. The hotel is equipped with an elevator which was helpful with my 81 year old mother who cannot walk too well at times. The service staff was pleasant and kind. Dinner and breakfast were very good! The only disappointment was that the check-in at the hotel is after 3 pm, contrary to the description on the hotels.com website."

"Loved the room setup, it was made for couples. It was refreshing to have a splendid half open concept for a bathroom. The restaurant served very good Italian cuisine, both the chef and the hosts were extremely professional. It would have been a perfect score but unfortunately the sunset view of the beach was blocked by another building."
