"We had a good experience at this hotel. Wonderful location right next to the Curve auditorium and the Athena centre. Didn't want to go far from the hotel so we had a good meal in the restaurant. Nice touch was that the chef came out and asked if we had enjoyed our meal - which we confirmed we had. The front of house staff were very polite and helpful with any questions we had. "We really enjoyed our two nights here. Very friendly and helpful receptionist on arrival. Our room was large, very comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast buffet is excellent - the fried and boiled eggs were cooked to perfection. My wife enjoyed the use of the pool. The hotel is a little tired in places, but it is to be refurbished as a Hilton "Double Tree" shortly. Will definitely stay here again when we are next in Leicester."
