"The Hotel Calimala is certainly a "boutique hotel"! My wife was in awe with the room and the view of Florence. The hotel is located in the perfect walking location to everything you will want to see in Florence and is filled with the most helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay, our room, and the kindness and helpfulness of all of the Hotel Calimala personnel!! Clean, Safe, walking distance to so many of the sights, just around the corner from the multitude of shops. Perfect!!"

"Lovely stay overall, the staff was excellent, breakfast options were plenty. Awesome location within walking distance of major sights and the central market was around the corner. Our bathroom set up wasn't ideal, with only a rainfall showerhead and a very low sink with a faucet that made it difficult to wash my face at night, but they did provide washcloths, which was great. I'd stay at this property again. "

"Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Just a few little things we would have preferred such as we were woken up very early by the cleaning in the hallway. The night before we had only arrived around 10pm so we were very tired and had the do not disturb sign on but they were banging quite loudly and we could not sleep in and the second thing is we would have liked the water in the mini fridge replenished each day but it was a free minibar which was nice. "We had a wonderful stay ! Even though our stay was cut short due to delayed incoming flight to florence , we were greeted very nicely by the hotel staff. The hotel itself has beautiful decor - both lobby and the rooms we were offered. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Florence and would love to stay again."
