"We had an amazing time in Quito staying at the hotel. Lovely building with interesting furniture and art. Bedroom was comfortable and extremely clean. Lovely bed, excellent views . Shower was hot and hotel provided us with a heater when it got chilly. David the manager and he's partner pierrina are very helpful. We were met at the airport by pierrina, the transfer was easy. We had a morning checkout prior to a midnight flight back to the US, but when I felt ill later (altitude plus maybe some suspect shrimp at dinner), they lent me a room, gratis, to lie down in all afternoon while the others went out in search of the Basilica and artisanal chocolate.
