"A good place to stay in central Kendal. Unfortunately for us we chose a room with a relatively small bed. The bed was comfy but should have chosen a room with a King size bed, Excellent breakfast and kind and friendly staff "

"Somewhat obsessed with booking me in for breakfast 3+ days in advance of staying, Dir to availability, and it didn’t reach 50% capacity. WiFi in the room was poor, which hindered me working and watching a movie. Comfortable stay, lovely bar and fireplace area."

"The staff were all excellent and attractive. The room was comfortable. The spa-bath in our en-suit was a lithe noisy but fun. We enjoyed a swim in the pool, not huge, but not busy. The only negative was breakfast was not very hot but otherwise the restaurant dinner was lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Great location for exploring the south lakes and Furness peninsula. "

"The hotel is very friendly staff couldnt do enough for you . The food was 5 star on all meals and we could also pay extra to have breakfast in bed . (Real treat ) We had a four poster room which was lovely and a good size but a little noisey from the road .The beds and pillows were to hard for us but this is our preference so might suit a lot of people. All in all a wonderful stay and enjoyed the pool and sauna ,jacuzzi also We will ba back "

"We had an executive suite which was excellent, it was well worth the extra money for the space & the extra touches. The quality of the furnishings & the bedding were very good & the bed was very comfy, we slept so well. it was cleaned each day to the same standard, the only slight issue was the soap dispensers we not very full & we ran out of all by the second day & the one on the sink wasn`t filled, only the bath & shower, we made do as it was our last night. Breakfast was very good, lots of it...
