"We had a difficult time with checking in. At first we could not find anyone or even the front desk. The instructions say to go to the front desk but it was closed even though we were within the open hours. We didn’t get great instructions when checking in and had trouble with the locks. The property is stunning but a long way from any amenities. Not walkable to any restaurants. "This is the most wonderful place to stay! Super charming, wonderful and helpful staff, and most spacious and comfortable rooms. There is parking and the gate closes at night for security. The restaurant is elegant and fine dining. This was one of the best dinners we had in France. The Auberge is walking distance to Chenonceau. We will only stay here for future visits!"
