"Really enjoyed our stay here. It was such a characterful hotel and our room was gorgeous with beautiful views over the Chobe river from the balcony. The game drives and river cruise were really good and a reasonable price. I would say, the service was very up and down, sometimes outstanding, at other times quite cold and disorganised. "We did not stay went to the room and it was absolutely filthy. Bugs all over the room and the floor clearly was not washed since the last guests left. Shower was dirty and fridge still had food spill from previous geusts inside. We left and found alternative accommodation as room was not fit for a stay. Very disappointed given the fee they charged."

"They had no record of my booking and made me pay again. Reception could not check to see if the booking had been made. Other staff, in bar and restaurant, were very good. Food was disappointing - old fat and half fried chips. Not somewhere I would stay again. Shower stall was missing a panel."
