Overall, the stay was comfortable and well-suited for a dive-focused trip, though there were a few quirks worth noting. Room & Amenities The apartment featured two twin beds, which could be pushed together to form a king. Since I was traveling with a friend, we opted to separate them for added space and comfort. The room itself was clean and functional, with enough storage for our belongings. One of the highlights was the fully equipped kitchen, which included a dishwasher—a great convenience for longer stays. The ability to prepare our own meals was a plus, especially given the limited dining options nearby. One downside, however, was the air conditioning setup. While the bedroom had AC, the living, dining, and kitchen areas did not. This made those spaces noticeably warmer, especially during the day. It would have been nice to have a cooling option for the entire apartment. Dining Option Resort Bonaire offers a single meal each night for a very reasonable price. The catch? You have to get there early because they often sell out. The rotating menu ensures variety, but since there’s only one option per night, it may not suit everyone’s tastes. "Really liked the location and staff. Very clean, with everything we needed to cook in our room. The pool was also very nice, always plenty of seating. However, as Americans, we're accustomed to having things like tissues, hand soap, conditioner, more than one pillow per person, hand towels, and blankets, but after we adjusted we found we were fine without them. I also thought we did something wrong because it was hard to get service at the restaurants, but I think this is mostly a cultural difference. Loved Bonaire and would stay at Chogogo again. Keep in mind that the area near the hotel is not easily walkable (no paved sidewalks)."

"This is a very lovely resort. Quiet, beautiful beach, spacious rooms, wonderful spa and staff. The restaurant is a bit pricey but very delicious and convenient. They bring snacks to your beach chair! Good snorkeling right on the private beach. Pools were good for laps. We loved our stay here. "

"Wonderful hotel with beautiful pastel colored buildings. Marriott quality with a Bonaire flair! Loved the infinity pool and buffet breakfast area overlooking pool and canal. Very friendly and helpful staff. Kayaking around hotel and area canals is scenic, easy access, and fun. Very laid back property and gorgeous. We were sad to leave. Be sure to rent a truck and go to the National Park! "
