"The meals were expensive and were the same every night. Would struggle if staying more than 3 nights due to limited choice. Outdoor pool was not heated so extremely cold for swimming Indoor pool was fabulous with adjoining sauna and steam rooms but would work out very expensive at 22 euros for 2 hours. "A wonderful remote setting in a beautiful building. The small village itself has a couple of restaurants and ice cream shops for a nice slow stroll. The hotel had incredibly friendly and helpful staff who were always willing to help. Especially when my limited French ran out and we were able to switch to English too. "Property itself was ok, however the lady in charge was extremely unhelpful. She went out of her way to make our stay more difficult than it needed to be and was constantly quoting regulations and insurance policies to justify her lack of customer service. "The property is a traditional French farmhouse with all the good but also less good things that entails. It was very clean and everything worked well but was a little hard to find. The owners/managers were really helpful and very willing to wait up for me when I was very late for check in. Breakfasts were traditional French, coffee, orange juice, baguettes with butter and jam and croissants. The home made apricot jam was very good!"
