"Great historic place with lots of trees and adjacent to a park. Walking distance to town. Spacious rooms and very confortable. The only draw back is the noise from the expressway. We loved the restaurant but noticed the menu is limited. We expected more original entrees. But great regardless."

My trip back again to Salado and Belton.
"Parking this time here was a little tough to get into due to all the big work pickup trucks . Parking is very limited when the hotel is full. But I like coming here so I can deal with it. The staff here is friendly and the place I good."
