"I’ve stayed at this lodge twice, once in 2020 and now again in 2024. As someone who works for a 4-diamond hotel in downtown Chicago for the past 10 years, I’d like to offer my honest opinion. For what the property is both inside and out it’s a solid stay. The rooms are consistently clean, and I’ve never encountered any issues like trash etc... While the property might be a bit outdated, it’s important to keep in mind that you’re not staying in a high-rise hotel in Chicago or New York. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the parking is very convenient. The location, just off the expressway, is also ideal for easy access. I’d recommend this lodge to anyone, and I’ll definitely stay again in the future. A big thank you to the staff for making each stay pleasant. "

"The stay was wonderful and courteous. Hotel does need to invest in more towels and bigger pool towels. I would recommend the pool getting cleaned, patched and painted. Other than that, this is my hotel for future stays."
