"My wife and I enjoyed our stay in Porto.The property was clean and well kept. Bed made everyday. Nice towels. But towels not changed everyday unless requested? Compact and well designed room. Lovely view of the town below. We could see the Douro River from our room. Beautiful sunset sky. Simple but nice breakfast. Very friendly staff. Family run guest house. "

"Uiterst vriendelijk ontvangst door Francisco en Bubbles, de hond rond het late tijdstip van 21:30 uur. Op voorhand al binnengelootsd met Whatsapp berichten, aangevuld met to-do-tips. Een verblijf achter in de volledig met diverse zithoekjes ingerichte tuin waar de huiseigenaar zelf geen gebruik van maakte tijdens ons verblijf. Ontbijt op voorhand door Francisco geregeld. "Le logement était propre et accueillant, amplement suffisant pour un couple. Gros point positif sur la localisation en bord de mer à peine 1 minutes de marche. Il n’y a pas de garage néanmoins en fin de journée il y a un parking vide à disposition une fois que les plagistes partent."

"Es un alojamiento con todo lo necesario , incluso con zona de comedor y nevera si necesitas dejar algo. En cambio el olor de la recepción era terrible, como a tubería , llegaba casi hasta las habitaciones. En las escaleras encontramos ropa de cama y toallas en el suelo que estuvieron durante dos días así como una bolsa de basura. La limpieza del baño no era muy exquisita tampoco. "

"Nice bright, but very small room overlooking the street in a nice village setting with lots of cafes. So some street noise. Wifi is rubbish - keeps dropping out & takes forever to reload. Good shower, the usual very firm European bed. Basic decor."

"The continental breakfast was simple but always fresh. Cleaning staff asked every day if anything needed doing. Reception staff always ready to offer advice on where to dine, walk or visit depending on the amount of time we had that day. While I am aware that the hotel is not a 4 star hotel, the staff made it feel it could be. "
