"I'm seriously impressed by how beautiful this hotel was. Rustic, beautiful tiles and floors, doors, gorgeous gardens and pool, all built into the side of a mountain with a stream running by as a view for breakfast. The room was also spacious and clean. The bathtub also apparently doubled as a jacuzzi though I didn't partake. The pool was beautiful. Breakfast was good. Air on included. Parking included. Rooms were quiet despite property being near a road. "

"Nice, quiet place. We forgot to read the fine print on the additional cleaning costs, so that was a surprise (although not that high). Apartment has everything in it and still kept the original charm. Few tips for other guests: later in the season (we were there late September) there are quite a few mosquitoes there. And be aware that there is one switch in the kitchen that also switches the refrigerator off! Do visit the town of Cortona, it's beautiful."

"Check in was easy. Staff very helpful. Room was large and very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Elevator was very helpful especially for getting to breakfast on the 4th floor. "We were initially uncertain about booking here due to some negative online comments; however, very happy we did! it would be difficult to pristinely maintain the property as it is historic and quite large, so if you’re looking for something with every modern amenity, this is not the stay for you.
