"This is an older style 2 storey motel. However, all the rooms have been fully renovated and are very comfortable. Shower has good pressure, bed was comfy, good size fridge, good size TV, ....The room has a modern looking vibe . However , room is smallish, but does the trick. Nice location. Pool fully renovated. Fresh coffee in the office. I would stay here again. Parking is also free. "

"It was a busy time of year after Christmas. On street parking was very competitive and required moving of cars. We could have used the parking area at $40 per night but were fortunate to find spots though it would not be for the faint of heart. We enjoyed the 1 bedroom suite very much but it requires climbing stairs. FYI"

"Ideal location on Coronado situated on a quiet street just off the main boulevard with restaurants, coffee shops and a short walk to the beach, to the Del, down the strand to the Naval Base and the dog park. Staff was attentive and hospitable. Property was clean and rooms are spacious. "

"It’s an above average property but not luxurious. Rooms could use some updating. There is no place to plug in any devices - you have unplug lamps and such. Location is nice. Service was fine but nothing to rave about. Charging for parking seems exorbitant and greedy since this isn’t an urban city center. "

"The spot is beautiful! The scenery is tropical and filled with wild-life the kids would love, such as ducks and small sharks. The lighting at night is incredible. There's also free rental items for recreational sports like tennis and basketball. Additionally, the are five heated pools throughout the resort which allowed for my 10 year old daughter and I to still swim even though it was January. I only wish they had at least one indoor pool on the premises. Great food options at Tidal and Barefoot Bar & Grill. Tidal, also has fantastic coffee with non-dairy options for your lattes. We will definitely go again. "
