"This is my second visit to this idyllic spot in Moorea. A family run group of budget rustic cottages on the lagoon next door to the Hilton. The onsite restaurant serves very high quality food and a simple breakfast is included. The hotel sits oceanfront on a beautiful area of the lagoon with rays, sharks and fish cruising by all day. Air conditioned rooms which is rare in Tahiti and kayaks included, good for family on a budget. "

"Beautiful setting and environs. Friendly staff and best snorkeling on Moorea right from the hotel’s beach. Fun pool area and quality restaurant on premises. "The hotel has bungalows and the restaurant is on the water. It is located directly on the beach in a very nice bay. The restaurant is very good but breakfast is too expensive for the food offered. You need a car to reach it from the airport or the harbor, and to move around the island. No public transportation and taxis are quite expensive."

We walked to the market about 10 min away. Taxi from the airport was about $25 and 15 min. The hotel has an adults rooftop bar that was popping but our kids wanted dinner and kids weren’t allowed, so we got pizza to go and ate in our lovely room. Will definitely stay here again before heading to Moorea on the ferry. Very clean...

"Property was really clean and new with fabulous rooms. Cold A/C. Very convenient location right across from the ferry terminal. Walk right across the street for the ferry! We walked to the market about 10 min away. Taxi from the airport was about $25 and 15 min. The hotel has an adults rooftop bar that was popping but our kids wanted dinner and kids weren’t allowed, so we got pizza to go and ate in our lovely room. Will definitely stay here again before heading to Moorea on the ferry. Very clean and convenient, great cafe downstairs. "

"We enjoyed our 4 nights stay...our room has an amazing view of the ocean and the island of Moorea. The property well landscape, clean and friendly staff. Room well kept, and meticulously clean. Several choices of restaurants and food are deliciously prepared. A nice place to stay in Tahiti, highly recommended. "

"Excellent property, perhaps the best in Tahiti. Far better than even IHG. Food was excellent. Facilities, furnishings all brand new, modern and stylish. Room was modern, cozy and very stylish. Staff was very pleasant. Did I say how excellent the food is? Great views of the S Pacific. Highly recommend. Only negatives… waiting for towel person to appear every time, not enough chaise lounges around the pool deck, some bar staff acknowledged but had to be reminded/re-requested for a beer or water. Gym and spa very nice also. "

"Stayed in the overwater bungalow and it was phenomenal... living right on top of the beautiful reef with the large wall was a dream. Check in and check out were comfortable and easy, with the resort making it easy to enjoy all the amenities even after check out time. Will definitely recommend over and over!"

"I had a lay over stop on my way to New Zealand, and the hotel was a nice stay, The staff was nice and friendly and my dinner was good. I didn’t have a change to walk around the ground because it was a storm off and on during my stay. But they did provide large Umbrella to move around the area. "

"The staff at Cooks Bay is outstanding. Every person I encountered was helpful and kind. My room was lovely. The beding was comfortably and the AC worked great. The pool bar was enjoyable as was the pool and beach area. I ate at the resturant once for each meal. The Mahi Mahi dinner was delicious. I really loved the sauce on the fish. The continental breakfast was perfect, coffee was strong, and the croissants buttery. Lunch was a huge blue cheese burger, yum. I really enjoyed my stay in Cooks Bay. I rented a scooter on site gor one day and drove around the island, just stunning views! Also, went diving with Moorea Blue Diving, awesome experience. I would definitely recommended Cooks Bay to all of my family and friends. "
