"Staff were absolutely wonderful. Friendly and very helpful. Hotel was close to the airport which is why we chose it. My only knock is that the bathroom door could not close and stay shut. I'm not complaining and we look forward to coming back. "

"The Front Desk staff and shuttle driver was very nice and helpful. The only reason the hotel didn’t receive 5 stars is because it’s outdated, one ice machine and it takes to long to get around the building with bags during winter months. Otherwise very convenient and also easy to get to the main road or interstate."

"Property was well maintained,but the microwave was a little dirty and refrigerator not well ventilated We had to request for blankets ,I thought this should have been already in the room ,I really I enjoyed my stay ."

However, one does wonder when the next step of updating staff at this facility will happen, and the characteristic uniformity associated with Hyatt quality will be employed. Whether from laziness or general negligence, from the front desk staff to housekeeping there is a general sense of disorder/failure in management and training. "Our stay was for a special occasion and to check off a bucket list to climb the Incline. The Cliff House was so historically excellent and different for us. The only thing we think would improve this is if the hotel host could provide information about the incline and how to get reservations as we didn't now reservations were required. "
