"We flew into BZE and drove to Placencia/Maya Beach. We were greeted at Azure Del Mar with a welcome drink and our names on the sign! What a greeting after a long travel day and drive! Dinner was lovely, we got some great recommendations from the staff, and work up to the beautiful peaceful ocean, breakfast, paddleboarding, oat milk lattes (hot or iced!). Although we had many day trips planned, we certainly would come back and simply stay at the property. Everything you need for a beach get a way with good food and coffee plus paddle boards and kayaks to use. Can’t wait to return! "

"This property is actually part of Jaguar Reef (a total of 3 resorts) with 2 pools, multiple bars, food options and the amazing dock bar. We had such a fantastic time here. It was relaxing, but also there are plenty of activity options to book if you want to fill your day. Our room was top notch and felt luxurious. We can't say enough nice things about the staff. They took great care of us, learned out names, and made us feel at home. The staff and the people of Belize in general, are such beautiful, kind, human beings. We are already talking about going back!"
