"if you want a hotel in the main shopping area of Singapore this one is perfect. The pool on the top of the hotel was amazing, the prices for the drinks were quite high but you pay for the view and the ambiance. If you can book a club room it enables you to use the quiet cool lounge, have breakfast, snacks in the afternoon and a couple of hours 17:30 - 19:30 of free drinks and nibbles in the evening.The staff are all amazing and extremely helpful."

"This hotel is fabulous. Everything from the location to the views to the guest rooms is wonderful and the staff could not be more accommodating. The hotel is attached to a shopping mall with an amazing food court. Maybe a little extra seating in the lobby would be helpful. I will stay here again."

And the hotel location is really good to connect with MRT and bus, you can go anywhere for site seeing. "One day overnight between international flights. Convenience to the airport amazing. A 25-minute Grab ride into Downtown, not too expensive, about 20 USD, including tip. Hotel is a bit of a labyrinth, but the room was comfortable. Not too big, but elegant. Great bathroom!!! And the morning buffet was one for the ages. You'll want to cancel your flight and stay longer just to keep eating."

"A nice and quite modern hotel. Great beds that were comfortable. The bathroom is a good size and ours had a very nice sized shower as well as a bath. Staff were helpful and friendly. Be aware the little tea/coffee place at the side of the reception shows hours of 8am to 8pm but, as we found at 6pm, it was now closed having closed at 6pm. Overall a great place to stay and well located for many things."

"Alma House is situated in a local neighborhood and did not feel so touristy but still convenient to walk over to shopping establishments."
