"Run down hotel, poor upkeep, pathetic toilet seats!!!"

"Good hotel for the price, and—they’re not kidding—it’s an amazing view of the Fort. Helpful staff, and very conveniently located. Just a couple minutes walk to the clock tower and the main markets, even if the few roads right around it are decidedly unlovely. Only complaint: they have local musicians and dancing every night at dinnertime. Nice for 5 minutes, but if you’re like me and just want to enjoy a drink and quietly enjoy the view, it’s pretty annoying to have to attend a show each evening."

"this is a palace with part of the property inhabited by a royal family memeber. The rooms were exquisitely decorated and the lobby and common areas are amazing/sumptious. The food was great; the gym very good and the only drawback was the freezing pool! But it was january! Great hotel"

"5 star service in a 3 star hotel Look no further. Book this hotel! The negative reviews do not reflect in any way the experience that is offered by the new management. The staff really made the magic happened for us, they were thoughtful, kind and went above our expectations. The rooms are well decorated and super clean, the roof terrace is one of a kind and the small size of the hotel makes it feel like you are at home. If you are confortable with the noise and action of the old city (windows are not sound proofed, but that was not a problem at all for us - you’re in India after all), this is a perfect mix of good location, relatively affordable price and high end service. We would go back in a heartbeat!"
