"After viewing many different hotels in downtown Chicago, we decided on Hilton Chicago/Magnificent Mile. The front desk staff were nice and welcoming - and were able to answer any questions we had. We LOVED our room. The layout reminded us of an apartment. The hotel was also very quiet, which could be because we went in the middle of the week in winter, but besides the point, it was lovely. "Loved it! Especially when everything is nearby at walkable distance. The restaurant inside the hotel was amazing. Great atmosphere! "

"The only drawback was that the hotel charges $10 for parking and doesn't tell you about it when you're checking in. We didn't know about it until we got our bill at checkout. A little late then to park somewhere else or at least know about it. I thought that was rather nontransparent on their part. "
