"This hotel is so unique. It is full of the owner's personal and very robust art collection. Its like going to an art gallery or museum! Loved it! In a very nice area of town as well. The buffet brrakfast was great! There is also a wonderful Italian restaurant just across the parking lot, it was excellent. "

"Big rooms, decent bathroom, very courteous staff, nice restaurant with good breakfast, attractive pool and courtyard. It’s 20 min from the airport and traffic is crazy but the free shuttle works well, even at 5am. Rooms facing the back of the hotel rather than the courtyard are quieter."

"The owner was selling and there was no staff, no manager to help me as promised. There was only one woman there part time to clean. There was no breakfast. The owner gave me a larger room at the same rate to compensate. But, this really still was uncomfortable I was the only person in this large house for most of my stay. Yes, the only person. "We stayed in the Rosa Blanca room. We loved the view and the beautiful art work on the walls in the bathroom. The circular stair case was unique and the 270 degree view of San Jose was great. We thought the staff was friendly, Carlos at the front desk helped us with many arrangments. The wait staff in the restaurant gave us excellent service."
