The beach itself is nice for walking ,but expect some salespeople to interrupt you and a fair bit of seaweed in the water. The pools were perfect though for us and our teenagers. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights at Whitesands. "

"First visited nearly 30 years ago and have stayed several times since. It's a lovely hotel for a short stay and it has an amazing staff. The facilities are excellent, great for young families and can be lively in the evenings (ask for a room away from the music in need). The restaurants are all open attracting monkies, crows and sparrows so some surfaces are likely not very clean but generally not a nuisance. The hotel's reputation is well-deserved."

"This property is nice, but the pool was small pool and the sun chairs had no umbrellas. It was shaded however you had to move your chair often due to the sun/shade depending on time of day. But overall, it was a good experience. Rooms were nice and clean but noisy hallways."
